Who are we?
Welcome to Boerderij Zonneveld!
We are Joop and Linda de Groot. Together with our children and grandchildren, we form the family behind Boerderij Zonneveld in Rossum.
For Joop, this place is extra special: he was born and raised on the farm. For generations, this has been a place where living, working and hospitality come together. Over the years, our business has grown with the changes in agriculture and we have continually developed new activities.
Until the end of 2025, we kept dairy cows and chickens. In the meantime, we have chosen a new direction. The agricultural land is used for agricultural nature management, whereby we contribute to a varied and attractive landscape with more space for plants and animals. On the farmyard, a few small farm animals remain, so that the rural atmosphere is preserved.
Besides nature management, we are delighted to welcome guests for meetings, family celebrations, workshops, baby showers, wedding ceremonies and other special moments. Hospitality is central to us. We think it is important that everyone feels welcome and goes home with a nice memory.

"Going on vacation and everything that comes with it, I have found incredibly interesting since I was young. Besides that, I really enjoy giving people a great time. Dealing with people simply makes me happy.
When years ago the residential house next to the farm came up for sale, we did not hesitate any longer. This is a unique opportunity to start a bed and breakfast, group accommodation and meeting accommodation, with our farm as the center. We have not been idle, meanwhile the location has been expanded with even more meeting rooms, self-service terrace and a little shop. Having people enjoy outdoor life the way I have always done myself."
