Group accommodation and B&B.

Boerderij Zonneveld is described on the website www.boerderijzonneveld.nl This website has been compiled with the greatest care but there may be differences between the text and/or photos presented on the website and the actual situation at Boerderij Zonneveld at the time of the guest(s)' visit. Guests cannot derive any rights from such differences.

Booking and payment of group accommodation and B&B
After the booking has been confirmed in writing/by email by Boerderij Zonneveld, the main guest must transfer a deposit within 10 days of 50% of the total accommodation costs to the account of Boerderij Zonneveld. The remaining payment must be made six weeks before the arrival date. With the deposit, the tenant agrees to these general terms and conditions.

The booking is only definitive upon a deposit of 50%. Your booking will be cancelled if it is not paid within 10 days or if the remaining amount is not paid within six weeks before the arrival date.

For a booking with an arrival date within six weeks after booking, the full amount must be paid within two days (and at the latest the day before arrival) after booking. The booking is only definitive upon full payment.

The invoice amount must be transferred to our account number: NL25RABO0374362084 in the name of Boerderij Zonneveld.

The main guest is at least 21 years old. Groups younger than 18 years of age are not permitted.

Cancellation of group accommodation and B&B
Any cancellation by the tenant must be made by email to Boerderij Zonneveld. Boerderij Zonneveld will send a confirmation of this.

Upon cancellation, regardless of the reason for cancellation (including force majeure and pandemic), the following terms apply:

Cancellation of a booking is possible free of charge up to 10 days after booking, unless the arrival date starts within six weeks after booking. In that case, cancellation is no longer possible.
Up to six weeks (42 days) before the arrival date, 25% of the total accommodation costs will be refunded. (if these have been paid)
Up to four weeks (24 days) before the arrival date, 20% of the total accommodation costs will be refunded. (if these have been paid)
Up to three weeks (21 days) before the arrival date, 10% of the total accommodation costs will be refunded. (if these have been paid)
Upon cancellation from three weeks (20 days) before the arrival date or non-appearance, no refund is possible.

For any modification or cancellation, a charge of €50.- will be made.

The tenant must arrange their own cancellation insurance. We strongly advise it, but it is up to you whether you want to cover the cancellation risk or not.

Upon arrival, the holiday property can generally be occupied after 3.00 pm and must be vacated by 10.30 am. Deviations will be mentioned in the booking confirmation.

Other matters Group accommodation and B&B

The tenant must use the rental property exclusively as a holiday home, may not rent or lend the rental property to third parties, nor allow more people to stay overnight than agreed in the rental agreement, unless with written permission from Boerderij Zonneveld.
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or in the communal areas or anywhere indoors.
Smoking is permitted outside in a designated area.
Pets are not allowed.
Guests are forbidden from using the room(s) for purposes that are contrary to laws and regulations and/or activities that can be considered "inappropriate" in light of reasonableness or decency.
The use of drugs, both inside and outside, is not permitted.
Visitors are only permitted in consultation with Boerderij Zonneveld.
Upon arrival, a visitor list must be completed. This is a legal requirement.

Booking meetings and other activities
The booking is definitive if the client confirms this by email.

For an assignment of more than €300.-, a payment invoice of 50% will be sent. This must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date and within 14 days before the arrival date. The balance must be paid within two weeks of receipt of the final invoice.

For an assignment of less than €300.-, an invoice will be sent after the activity. Payment must be made 14 days after receipt of the invoice to the account of Boerderij Zonneveld. Boerderij Zonneveld will provide an invoice for this.

Cancellation of meetings and other activities
Changes to the assignment can be communicated up to 7 days before the start of the arrival date, whereby the assignment can change by a maximum of 10% of the assignment amount.

Within 7 days, no changes to the assignment can be communicated without financial consequences. The full revenue agreed in the assignment must be paid.

Cancellation is possible without costs up to 60 days before the day of the activities.
Upon cancellation up to 30 days before the day of the activities, 25% of the invoice amount is due.
Upon cancellation up to 14 days before the day of the activities, 50% of the invoice amount is due.
Upon cancellation within 14 days, the full invoice amount is due.

For certain activities, other cancellation terms may apply. This will always be communicated by email.

Cancellation terms for meeting venues (companies)

We understand that you may want to cancel the meeting due to unforeseen circumstances. We will work together to arrange this in the best way possible.
However, we also make preparations and in the event of a cancellation, we are forced to charge costs.

For a definitive booking, we always charge the space rental costs. As compensation, we give the next booking a 25% discount on the rental costs.

It is possible to place an option. In the event of a second request for the same day, we will contact you to ask if the planned meeting will proceed.

You can change the number of people up to 7 days before the meeting, after which the full number of reserved people will be charged.

For an activity where we hire an external party, other cancellation terms apply. These depend on the chosen activity.

If we reserve rooms for you at an external hotel, different cancellation terms apply. These depend on the selected hotel.

We can agree on other terms with you in written consultation.

Damage

The guest must behave properly and use the accommodation in accordance with the reasonable usage instructions given by Boerderij Zonneveld.

The main guest is legally liable for damage caused by him or his fellow guests to the movable and immovable property at Boerderij Zonneveld or the items present therein.

Liability
Boerderij Zonneveld cannot be held liable for damage suffered by the guest or third parties as a result of the stay at Boerderij Zonneveld; the guest indemnifies Boerderij Zonneveld against claims in this regard. Boerderij Zonneveld is not liable for disruptions in and around the accommodation and other spaces such as power and water supply disruptions and technical system failures, unannounced or untimely construction and/or road works and/or noise and/or odor nuisance in the vicinity of Boerderij Zonneveld.

We cannot be held liable for personal injury resulting from the stay at Boerderij Zonneveld. Damages and loss of movable and immovable property of Boerderij Zonneveld must be reported immediately by guests and compensated. Boerderij Zonneveld is not liable for damage, loss or theft of guests' property. In case of disputes, all (legal) costs are the responsibility of the guests. In case of lost keys to the accommodation, all resulting costs will be charged to the guest(s).

Force Majeure
In case of force majeure, whether of a permanent or temporary nature, Boerderij Zonneveld is entitled to terminate the rental agreement in whole or in part or temporarily suspend it without the tenant being able to claim performance and/or compensation. Force majeure is understood to include, but is not limited to: war danger, war, uprising, terrorist threats, terrorist acts, nuisance, strikes, disruptions in traffic or transport, government measures, natural disasters, extraordinary weather conditions and furthermore all special circumstances outside the sphere of influence of Boerderij Zonneveld due to which full or partial performance of the rental agreement cannot reasonably be expected of the landlord.

Additional general terms for meeting venues

The tenant may only use the meeting venue during the agreed rental period. The tenant is not authorized to transfer their right of co-use to third parties. Rental of the meeting venue is at the tenant's own risk and responsibility. In case of nuisance, Boerderij Zonneveld has the right to terminate the agreed rental arrangements immediately.

It is not permitted to consume your own brought food and drinks in and around the meeting venues. Smoking is not permitted in the meeting venues. The tenant is forbidden from using the meeting venue for purposes that are contrary to laws and regulations and/or activities that can be considered "inappropriate" in light of reasonableness or decency.
